Hover

In 2022, Henshaws were asked by the National Merchant Buying Society (NMBS) to carry out a UK trial of a revolutionary new roof estimating tool called Hover.

It works via a smartphone app with technology originating from the US defence sector and uses complex algorithms to determine building measurements.

The process is simple. Once at the property, enter the address details and take 8 photographs from various positions at ground-level. Within a couple of hours of uploading, a detailed PDF drawing of the building complete with measurements is provided via email. Frankly, it seems too good to be true!
